Arrived late 7:15pm on a Sunday & they close at 8:00pm. They were gracious & most of the staff stopped by to say "hi" & check on us. The food was awesome! We enjoyed the Chile Colorado & the fish tacos were delicious. The rice & beans were great too. Friendly atmosphere.
Was in the Placerville area looking for a good Mexican food place. Great reviews & lots of the locals seemed to frequent it when we visited it. Nice surprise! Great food and service!
Located in the far side of a strip mall. Plenty of parking. Cozy restaurant, a throwback to earlier days. Warm greeting and attentive staff. Mostly booth seating. Food is perfect if you Are looking for Mexican food with little deviation from mild. The Chile verde was tasty but the beans (whole) and rice were bland. Complimentary chips were excellent and salsa was good. The restaurant was busy for a Thursday afternoon.
Hands down the best chips and salsa in the 43 states I have been in . Any and all food you get will most certainly be some of the best you have ever had . After eating at Colina del oro for many years and then moving across the country then visiting again after 1.5 years I have realized they have some of the best food I have ever had .
This is a great restaurant, the staff is friendly, food is good and it's priced fair.
